Vonage Business Pricing Explained (2026)

Vonage Business Communications pricing for 2026: Mobile, Premium and Advanced per-line rates, team-size tiers, promotions, contract terms and add-on limits.

Short answer: Vonage Business Communications (VBC) costs $19.99 (Mobile), $29.99 (Premium) or $39.99 (Advanced) per month for a single line on standard monthly billing, with lower per-extension prices as your team grows. When we checked, Vonage was offering 30% off for 12 months, and annual billing lowered prices further in exchange for a one-year contract.

All figures come from Vonage's VBC pricing page as checked on October 1, 2026, and exclude taxes and fees.

Plan overview

Plan Positioning Key inclusions

Standard monthly prices by team size

Vonage's page asks how many employees you have and shows a price for a single line and lower prices per extension for larger groups. The standard monthly prices shown were:

Plan Single line Mid-size teams Larger teams
Mobile $19.99 $17.99 per extension $14.99 per extension
Premium $29.99 $27.99 per extension $24.99 per extension
Advanced $39.99 $37.99 per extension $34.99 per extension

The page did not spell out exact headcount breakpoints for each tier in the text we captured, so enter your team size on Vonage's page to see your rate. Enterprise customers are directed to sales.

Promotions and annual billing

Two discounts were visible:

  • A 12-month promotion of 30% off, applied through a coupon at checkout. For example, the single-line Mobile price showed $13.99 under the promotion on annual billing.
  • Annual billing, which requires a minimum one-year contract for new accounts.

The promotion is temporary. Plan your budget on the standard price, then treat the first-year saving as a bonus. Vonage also states that monthly plans carry no early termination fees, which makes month-to-month a low-risk way to test the service.

What different teams pay

Using standard monthly prices and the middle per-extension tier for teams of three or more:

Team Mobile Premium Advanced
1 line $19.99 $29.99 $39.99
3 lines $53.97 $83.97 $113.97
5 lines $89.95 $139.95 $189.95
10 lines $179.90 $279.90 $379.90

Larger teams that qualify for the lowest per-extension tier pay less; teams that take the 30% promotion pay less in year one.

Which plan do you actually need?

Mobile: calls and texts on phones and laptops

Mobile is an app-only line. It handles calling, SMS and MMS and voicemail, which is enough for field staff or owners who just need a business number on their phone. It does not support desk phones, video meetings, call groups, recording or voicemail transcription.

Premium: the office plan

Premium adds desk phone support, which is the main reason most offices upgrade, plus video meetings for up to 200 people, team messaging and single sign-on. If you have a reception desk or shared handsets, you need at least Premium.

Advanced: recording and transcription

Advanced is the only plan with call recording and voicemail transcription. Recording is on demand and capped at 15 hours per month. If your business records calls for training, disputes or compliance, budget for Advanced, and check whether 15 hours covers your volume.

A worked example: a six-person office

Picture a six-person insurance agency. Two producers work from the road, three staff sit at desks with handsets, and the owner wants every client call recorded for errors-and-omissions protection.

On Vonage, the desk handsets rule out Mobile for the office staff, and recording rules out Premium for anyone whose calls must be recorded. If everyone needs recording, all six go on Advanced at the mid-tier rate of $37.99, or $227.94 per month on standard monthly billing, plus the cost of three desk phones. If only the producers need recording and the office staff can live without it, a mix of two Advanced lines and four Premium lines would cost $75.98 plus $111.96, or $187.94, assuming Vonage allows mixed plans on one account.

The same agency on Callata would pay $119 per month for six users ($99 for the first five plus $20 for the sixth) with recording on every call, but it would need to give up desk handsets and use browser softphones and cell ringing instead. Whether that trade works depends entirely on how attached the office is to physical phones.

How Vonage's per-line prices compare

On standard monthly list prices, Vonage Premium at $29.99 for a single line sits close to RingCentral RingEX Core ($30 per user monthly) and above Ooma Office Pro ($24.95 per user) and Nextiva Core ($23 per user). Vonage's per-extension discounts for larger teams narrow that gap. Mobile at $14.99 to $19.99 per line is one of the cheaper app-only options from a large carrier.

Costs that are easy to miss

  • Desk phones. Supported on Premium and Advanced but purchased separately.
  • Taxes and fees. Vonage prices are shown "plus taxes and fees".
  • Post-promotion pricing. Year two returns to standard rates.
  • Recording cap. Heavy recorders may outgrow 15 hours per month.
  • Mixing plans. If only some staff need Advanced, ask whether you can mix plans on one account.

How Vonage compares with Callata's pricing

Vonage's per-line model works well for very small teams that only need calls and texts. One Mobile line at $19.99 is far cheaper than a bundled team plan such as Callata's $99 for five users.

Callata takes a different approach: $99 per month includes five users, and each additional user is $20 per month. The plan includes up to three local numbers, unlimited inbound calling and 1,500 pooled outbound US and Canada minutes per user (then $0.01 per minute), call recording with AI summaries, voicemail transcription with urgency triage, ring groups, extensions and business-hours routing, a shared texting inbox after a one-time $49 registration, and E911. Optional AI agents cost $0.25 per minute used.

Against Vonage Mobile, Callata is not cheaper at any team size on standard pricing: five Mobile lines are $89.95 against Callata's $99, and each extra Vonage extension ($17.99 or less) costs less than Callata's $20 per extra user. Against Vonage Premium, Callata is cheaper from four lines ($111.96 on Vonage vs $99) and stays cheaper as the team grows, because Premium's per-extension rates ($24.99 to $27.99) exceed Callata's $20 per extra user. Against Vonage Advanced, the only Vonage plan with recording and voicemail transcription, Callata is cheaper from three lines ($113.97 vs $99), and at ten lines it is $199 against $379.90. Vonage keeps the edge if you need desk phones, built-in video meetings, single sign-on or native apps, none of which Callata offers.
