Dialpad Pricing Explained (2026)

Dialpad pricing for 2026: Connect Standard, Pro and Enterprise per-user rates, the gap between monthly and annual billing, user minimums and AI Agent credits.

Short answer: Dialpad's business phone product, Dialpad Connect, costs $15 per user per month on the Standard plan billed annually, or $27 per user per month billed monthly. Pro is $25 annually or $35 monthly per user with a three-user minimum, and Enterprise is quoted. Dialpad's AI Agents, Support and Sell products are priced separately.

A note on sources: Dialpad's pricing page, checked October 1, 2026, opens on its AI Agent product and did not render Connect plan prices in our check. The Connect figures below match Callata's own check of Dialpad pricing on September 28, 2026 and 2026 pricing guides from CloudTalk and Nextiva. Always confirm with Dialpad before buying.

Dialpad Connect plans

Plan Annual billing Monthly billing User minimum
Standard $15/user/mo $27/user/mo 1
Pro $25/user/mo $35/user/mo 3
Enterprise Quote Quote 100

Standard

Standard is Dialpad's small-business tier. It includes calling, messaging, video meetings and Dialpad's AI features, including real-time call transcription and post-call summaries. For many teams, Standard covers everything they need from a phone system.

Pro

Pro is positioned for growing teams and requires at least three users. Ask Dialpad for the current Standard-versus-Pro feature list before upgrading; the deciding features change over time, and paying $10 more per user only makes sense if your team will use them.

Enterprise

Enterprise is for large organizations that need custom terms, administrative controls and service-level commitments, with a 100-user minimum according to CloudTalk's guide.

The monthly billing premium

Dialpad's gap between annual and monthly prices is one of the largest in the market. Standard costs $12 more per user per month on monthly billing, and Pro costs $10 more.

Team size Standard, annual Standard, monthly Extra cost per year on monthly
1 user $15 $27 $144
3 users $45 $81 $432
5 users $75 $135 $720
10 users $150 $270 $1,440

If you are confident Dialpad is right for you, annual billing saves real money. If you want to stay flexible, the monthly price is the true cost of that flexibility.

What "per user" means at Dialpad

Dialpad bills per licensed user, so the monthly total is simply the seat price multiplied by the number of people who need to make or take calls. Shared lines such as a main number or support line can route to several licensed users, but each person answering still needs a seat. When you plan a budget, count everyone who will answer the phone at least occasionally, including part-time staff and owners who only cover during busy periods.

Other Dialpad products

Dialpad's pricing page groups its offering into AI Agent, Support, Sell and Connect.

  • AI Agent. Autonomous voice and chat agents with handoffs to humans, connectors and conversational analytics. Dialpad prices it by conversation: you buy AI Agent credits, credits are used only when the AI delivers value (such as retrieving information, scheduling, routing or an order lookup), and no work means no charge. Pricing is through sales.
  • Support and Sell. Contact-center products for support and sales teams, priced per agent and quoted separately from Connect.

For a small business, Connect is usually the only product needed. AI Agent becomes relevant if you want AI to answer calls on your behalf.

What drives the final bill

Taxes and regulatory fees

As with every US provider, taxes and fees are added to list price and vary by location.

Numbers

Each user typically gets a number; additional numbers, toll-free numbers and international numbers can cost extra. Ask for the per-number price if you need department lines.

Texting registration

Business texting from US local numbers requires 10DLC registration through carriers. Ask how Dialpad passes those fees through.

Seat count rules

On Pro, you pay for at least three users even if fewer people use it.

Three example budgets

Solo consultant, annual billing. One Standard seat at $15 per month, or $180 for the year, is one of the lowest prices for a full-featured business phone with AI transcription. Month to month, the same seat is $27.

Six-person agency, monthly billing. Standard for six people is $162 per month. Moving to annual cuts that to $90, saving $864 a year, but commits the agency for 12 months.

Twelve-person sales team on Pro. Twelve Pro seats cost $300 per month annually or $420 monthly. If the team also wants an AI agent answering overflow calls, add a conversation-credit quote from Dialpad on top.

How to lower a Dialpad bill

  • Pilot on monthly, then switch. Run one or two months on monthly billing to confirm fit, then move to annual.
  • License only active callers. Occasional users can sometimes share a department line instead of each having a seat.
  • Stay on Standard unless Pro features are used daily. The three-user minimum on Pro also makes it expensive for very small teams.
  • Negotiate at renewal. Annual and multi-year terms give you leverage on per-seat price and add-ons.

Is Dialpad worth the price?

For teams that spend most of the day on calls, Dialpad's live AI transcription and summaries can save real time, and its apps are polished. On annual billing, Standard at $15 per user is competitive with other per-user providers such as Nextiva Core ($15 annual) and below RingCentral RingEX Core ($20 annual).

The value argument weakens for small offices on monthly billing, where Standard at $27 per user adds up quickly, and for teams that already have a video meeting tool and do not need live transcription.

How Dialpad compares with Callata

Callata charges $99 per month with five users included and $20 per additional user, month to month. That includes up to three local numbers, unlimited inbound calling and 1,500 pooled outbound US and Canada minutes per user per month (then $0.01 per minute), call recording with AI summaries (sentiment and action items), voicemail transcription with urgency triage, business-hours routing, ring groups and extensions, a shared texting inbox after a one-time $49 registration, and E911. AI agents are self-serve at $0.25 per minute from prepaid packs.

Compared with Dialpad Standard on monthly billing, Callata is cheaper from four users ($99 versus $108). Compared with Standard on annual billing at $15 per user, Dialpad costs less at every team size: $75 for five users versus Callata's $99, and each extra Dialpad seat costs less than Callata's $20 per additional user. Against Pro, Callata is cheaper from the three-user minimum on monthly billing ($105) and from four users on annual billing ($100). Dialpad offers capabilities Callata does not: live in-call transcription, video meetings, native desktop and mobile apps, CRM integrations, toll-free and international numbers, and enterprise administration.
