Freshcaller Pricing Explained (2026)

Freshcaller pricing for 2026: Free, Growth, Pro and Enterprise per-agent rates, included incoming minutes, per-minute call charges and day passes.

Short answer: Freshcaller charges per agent plus per minute. Licenses are $0 (Free), $15 (Growth), $39 (Pro) and $69 (Enterprise) per agent per month on annual billing, and annual billing saves 20% over monthly. Paid plans include 2,000, 3,000 or 5,000 incoming minutes per month; outbound calls and extra minutes are billed at Freshcaller's call rates. Day passes from $2 let occasional agents log in without a full license.

Figures come from Freshcaller's pricing page on freshworks.com, checked October 1, 2026. Freshcaller is Freshworks' cloud phone and contact center product, often used alongside the Freshdesk help desk.

Free

Free gives inbound caller ID, desktop notifications, call notes, custom greetings, call metrics and conversion properties. You pay only for call minutes. It is a way to attach a phone number to a support team without license costs. It lacks voicemail, call recording and transfers, so most businesses outgrow it quickly, but it is a low-risk way to try Freshcaller's interface with real calls before committing to licenses.

Growth

Growth adds the 2,000 included incoming minutes, number porting, wait queues, voicemail, warm and cold transfers and call recording. For most small support teams, Growth is the starting point.

Pro

Pro adds 3,000 included incoming minutes, holiday routing, call center agent statuses, routing automation, call conferencing and smart escalations.

Enterprise

Enterprise adds 5,000 included incoming minutes, speech-enabled IVR, abandoned call metrics and service level monitoring.

How per-minute charges work

Every plan's price is written as "per agent per month + pay/min." The included minutes on paid plans are incoming minutes. Other usage, such as outbound calls and incoming minutes beyond the bundle, is billed at the rates on Freshcaller's call-rates page, which vary by country and number type. This is the most important difference between Freshcaller and phone systems that include unlimited domestic calling: your bill moves with your call volume.

To estimate your usage cost, pull a month of call logs and separate:

  1. Inbound minutes on local numbers (compare with the included bundle).
  2. Inbound minutes on any toll-free numbers.
  3. Outbound minutes by destination.

Then check each category against the call-rates page for your numbers.

Multiply anything outside the bundle by the published rate for that call type.

What a team actually pays (licenses only)

Agents Growth Pro Enterprise
2 $30 $78 $138
5 $75 $195 $345
10 $150 $390 $690

Add per-minute charges and phone number costs. A team that mostly receives calls and stays within the incoming bundle will see a bill close to the license cost. A team that makes many outbound calls will pay noticeably more.

Day passes for occasional agents

Day passes let a manager, a seasonal worker or a back-office employee take calls on a busy day without a monthly license. At $2 on Growth, a person who helps out four days a month costs $8 instead of a $15 license. On Pro, the break-even is about five or six days a month ($7 per pass against $39). Day passes are one of Freshcaller's most practical pricing features for teams with spiky volume.

Free trial and cancellation

Freshworks offers a 14-day free trial that unlocks all Enterprise features. It says you can upgrade instantly, downgrade or cancel at the end of your term, and that there are no cancellation fees. Freshworks accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, and does not accept PayPal.

Freshcaller against other support-team phone tools

Freshcaller's license prices are low compared with other phone tools built for support and sales teams, partly because calls are metered separately. Published entry prices, checked October 1, 2026:

Product and plan License price (annual billing) Minimum Calling
Freshcaller Growth $15/agent None listed 2,000 incoming minutes, then per minute
JustCall Team $29/user 2 Unlimited inbound; outbound per-user allowance under fair usage
Aircall Essentials From $30/license 3 Unlimited US and Canada outbound, unlimited inbound
MightyCall Pro $38/user 3 Unlimited (fair use)

Freshcaller is the cheapest on license price, but for an outbound-heavy team the per-minute charges can close the gap. For an inbound support desk that stays within the incoming bundle, it is often the cheapest of the group.

Ways to keep the bill predictable

  1. Size the plan to inbound volume. If your team receives about 2,500 inbound minutes a month, Pro's 3,000-minute bundle may cost less overall than Growth plus overage.
  2. Use day passes for helpers. Give occasional agents passes instead of full licenses.
  3. Watch outbound usage. Outbound minutes are always metered; a callback-heavy support process can raise the bill.
  4. Bill annually only when your agent count is stable. The 20% annual saving assumes you keep the licenses all year.

Who Freshcaller's pricing suits

Freshcaller's model favors a dedicated support team that mostly receives calls, works them through queues and reports on service levels, especially if it already uses Freshdesk. The Free plan and day passes make it cheap to give part-time staff access.

It suits outbound-heavy teams less well, because every outbound minute is metered, and it does not list business texting as a plan feature on its pricing page.

Freshcaller compared with Callata

Callata is priced differently: $99 per month with five users included and $20 per additional user, with unlimited inbound calling and a pooled allowance of 1,500 outbound US and Canada minutes per user per month (then $0.01 per minute), up to three local numbers, a shared texting inbox (after a one-time $49 10DLC registration), call recording with AI summaries, voicemail transcription with urgency triage and business-hours routing. Optional AI agents can answer when everyone is busy, at $0.25 per minute.

Scenario Freshcaller Growth Callata Office
3 agents, inbound only, within bundle $45 + number costs $99
5 agents, plus 3,000 outbound minutes $75 + outbound per-minute charges $99 (within the 7,500 pooled outbound minutes)
10 people who all answer calls sometimes $150, or day passes for some $199

Freshcaller's license cost is lower in every scenario. For an inbound team within its bundle, Freshcaller is the cheaper choice; Callata only comes out ahead when Freshcaller's outbound per-minute charges exceed the gap (for five agents, more than $24 a month in outbound charges).

Callata does not offer contact center queues, agent statuses, service-level metrics or a help desk integration, so a support operation that needs those should stay with Freshcaller or a similar tool. For a full comparison, read Callata vs Freshcaller, or see Freshcaller alternatives.
